About Coach Matt Ebersole
Ø Marks the start of his running with his first race in 1980 at the Blueberry Stomp 15K in Plymouth, Indiana.
Ø Competed for Fort Wayne Harding High School and Marion College (now Indiana Wesleyan University).
Ø Earned a degree in exercise science and wellness from Ball State University in 1991.
Ø Founded Personal Best Training in 1991, helping runners reach their goals through scientifically sound and performance proven principles.
Ø Personal Best Training currently offers training programs and private coaching for runners of all abilities and aspirations.
Ø Since 1991, Matt has coached over 5,000th runners including hundreds of qualifiers for the Boston Marathon and three U.S. Olympic Team Trials Marathon qualifiers.
Ø Authored “What Phidippides Should Have Known”, which was adopted as the training model for Team In Training, the world’s largest marathon training program at that time. Also served as a speaker for their national coaching certification program.

Ø Can help beginners or people struggling with consistency to find the keys to motivation and turn intentions into habits.
Ø Matt is able to help people find ways to adapt training and exercise to real life situations.
Ø Has written for many publications including a weekly column for 13 weeks leading up to the Mini Marathon for the Indianapolis Star and can write for your organization’s newsletter or website.
Ø His partnership with sports brands and fitness retailer enables him to offer programs and discounts to groups.
Ø Presentations may be given in several formats including lecture, question and answer, demonstration and participation activities.

Jackie Dikos, R.D.
Ø As a board certified dietitian, Jackie truly embraces her role as a nutrition educator in the promotion of healthy living.
Ø Her professional history includes managing a private nutrition consultant practice, Nutrition Success, as well as earning clinical experience working with infants, children, and the adult populations.
Ø Jackie has also enjoyed racing success at a range of distances including qualification to the 2008 Olympic Trials in the Marathon.
